Fine Silver Magnifying Glass Birmingham 1924

1920 - 1940
Description

A very fine, silver Magnifying glass . The handle is nicely shaped which is nice to hold in the hand. Hallmarks are visible on the handle for the Birmingham Assay Office along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver with a date mark for 1924 and silvermaker's mark: William Devenport.

The glass is a slightly blue colour which adds to the attractiveness of this Magnifyer.

 

Condition: In lovely antique condition

 

Hallmarks & maker's marks: Birmingham 1924 by William Devenport.

 

Measurements:

Length: 14.6 cm approx.

Width at widest part: 6.7 cm approx.

Weight: 69.6 grams approx.
