Antique Early Victorian Sterling Silver Double Inkstand 1848

Description

This is a beautiful antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver desk top inkstand with two glass & silver inkwells.

It measures 9 1/2? (24 cms) across x 6? (15 cms) x 3 1/4? (8 cms) high to the top of the inkwells.

All items are in excellent condition with no damage and the dish and inkwells show matching hallmarks for London 1848 with the silversmiths marks for Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox.

The stand has beautiful pierced decoration with no inscriptions or monograms with space for the two inkwells and also plenty of space for pens etc.

The stand without the inkwells weighs 554.5 grams/17.8 troy oz.

This item will come with a certificate of authenticity
