Description

A charming antique three piece solid silver bachelor tea set comprising tea pot, milk and sugar bowl. A high quality set, of excellent gauge of silver by renowned silversmith, Mappin & Webb. The combined weight of the set is 780 grams and individually as follows:

Teapot :461 grams

Milk jug: 191 grams

Sugar bowl : 128 grams

The set is in excellent condition throughout, hallmarks sharp and clear. Each piece is hallmarked London, the teapot and bowl is 1934, and the jug is 1964. The jug is likely a later replacement but matches perfectly as done the engraved crest.

A great set, good weight and condition.
