A George VI Sterling silver dish which is rectangular shape in design with curved edges, a pierced border depicting fruit, leaves and vines and resting on a raised pedestal foot. This well made silver dish would be perfect for displaying fruit and would look decorative on the table. It was originally sold in the silver department of Harrod's and is still in excellent condition. It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1937 by Richard Burbridge and weighs 17.90 Troy ounces ( 556 grams ).
