Description

This is an antique adjustable piano stool. An English, Victorian walnut music seat dating to the late 19th century, circa 1870.
Select walnut displays a rich caramel hue with fine grain interest
Good consistent colour throughout and a desirable aged patina
Original upholstery to adjustable seat cushion in good order
Traditionally stuffed, upholstered in a light green velour cloth with brocade trim
Inverted finial beneath stout turned and fluted stem
Raised on a tripod of sinuous swept legs
