Fine Silver Square Card Tray Birmingham 1926

A very fine, solid sterling silver card tray. The tray is a very nicely proportioned (20.8 x 20.8 cm approx) and is square in design with neat canted corners. It has a stepped rim which adds to the attractiveness of this lovely item. It stands firmly and evenly on four solid and sturdy feet. Very clear hallmarks are visible on the underside of the tray for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1926 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker's marks is also clear for the silversmith: Adie Brothers.

 

A superior tray, with no engraving or embossing - simply lovely plain polished silver.

 

Condition: In lovely antique collector's condition.
