Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The stems tapering outward and downward to a leaf carved baluster, above a concave socle. The bases with a gadrooned collar, before the outward curved circular profile, finished with a rounded and vertical edge. The candle sticks raised up on small scrolled toes.
