Antique English Sterling Silver Heart Shaped Trinket / Ring Box

Description

A beautiful small English sterling silver heart shaped box with a highly decorative repousse lid surrounding a slightly domed cartouche to the centre.

The hinged lid fits perfectly; the interior reveals a blue lining, a little wear to be expected from a box celebrating it's 100th birthday this year, the interior of the lid is gilded.

The English silver hallmark is present on both the underside and the lid for Birmingham 1910. Excellent condition, measuring 1 7/8" wide x 1 3/4" x 7/8" tall.
