Pair of Large Brass and Enamel Lamps with Shades

1920 - 1940
Description

Fabulous pair of very decorative and extremely good quality brass and off white enamelled table lamps with large vintage "drum" style silk shades.

The lamps can be used with the existing vintage silk shades as they cradle into the white glass up lighters, or you may perhaps use them as up lighters only.

They are a grand proportion, country house style, but also quite fine and elegant too.

The condition of the lamps is good to both with just a few very minor chips to the enamel as you can see from the photos.

The vintage silk shades do have some marks to them, nothing drastic, so I would personally keep them, or you may prefer to have them recovered.

They have been rewired and are in full working order. Priced as the pair.

Measuring:

40 1/4” or 102cm high

6 1/2” or 16.5cm base diameter

15” or 38cm shade diameter

39 1/2” or 100.5cm to top of white glass shade

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
