Very clear and distinctive hallmarks can be seen on the back of the spoon terminal for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1800 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver along with the silver maker's marks: William Eley & William Fearn.

This is an exceptional Sifter spoon, good heavy gauge of silver and in super condition for the age of the item!
