Antique Georgian Silver Teapot With Stand 1798

An excellent example of a solid sterling silver George III boat shaped teapot and conforming oval stand.
 
Both parts are clearly hallmarked for London 1798, with the maker''s mark of George Smith (II) & Thomas Hayter.
 
The teapot features a part bright cut decoration and has a well-attached turned wooden handle. The stand is oval and stands on four pad feet. Both are inscribed with the same italicised initials. The teapot holds an easy 2 pints and pours well. The hinge for the lid is good. Total silver weight is 568g.
