Description

A very fine, Edwardian, silver Pin Cushion in the form of a most attractive Pig. The detail is superb. It is a good heavy weight and stands nice and straight on four legs. The original green cushion has not been disturbed, however, does show signs of a little wear

To one side of the pig are the clear hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1904 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silver maker's marks are also clear for the esteemed maker's: Levi & Salaman

In lovely antique condition. there are a few surface dings to one side just above the leg and on the pigs belly commensurate with age and mentioned for accuracy only.
