Art Deco Silver & Enamel Hand Mirror Birmingham 1929

A beautifully designed, art deco, silver and guilloche enamel hand mirror, unusually shaped and featuring the most stunning green enamelling showcasing a lovely concentric circles design. The mirror is bevelled glass and is spotless and clear.

  

Clear hallmarks are visible on the silver frame of the mirror for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1929 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. Here the silver maker's mark is also visible for Daniel Manufacturing Company

A stunning mirror and rare due to its unusual shape and it's beautifully gilted handle.

Condition: The mirror is in very nice condition. There is a very slight marking to some corners and a tiny chip to the enamel on the left hand side near the handle, which we mention for accuracy only. It does not detract from the beauty of the mirror. (See images for clarification).
