Description

This is an Austrian 800 standard solid silver dish. It was made circa 1900 and bears the maker's mark 'V.N.', which may be the mark of Vinzenz Neginik who was active 1903-1920.

The dish is of oval form and bears an engraved monogram to the centre, surrounded by an engraved 'petal' design. It has a gadrooned border.

There is a dent below the monogram. The edge of the dish is slightly bent in some sections. There is surface wear consitent with the age.

It weighs 299g (9.61 ozt).
