Nice pair of mid 19th century Scottish silver fiddle pattern sauce / toddy ladles with circular bowls and attractive "L" monogram to the handle. Hallmarked for Glasgow 1861, maker W. Allan.
They measure 17cm (6 3/4") long and 4.5cm (1 3/4") wide across the bowl. They weigh 83g/2.7ozt. Condition is very good with no damage or repairs, light surface wear and nice clear hallmarks.
