Pretty Antique Silver Pocket Watch Stand

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

An Edwardian solid sterling silver-fronted pocket watch stand.

It is clearly hallmarked at the base for Birmingham 1909, with the maker''s mark of The Boots Pure Drug Co. The decoration is in the Art Nouveau style, with flora and dragonflies. The silver is firmly attached to the wooden mount, which has its original easel. There are a couple of small dents in the silver but, nevertheless, it is a very pretty example.
