Colin Brand Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
They are the same design and from the front look like a pair.
The leather backs are different but original as are the easel stands.
One is marked WMFB OX
The other is marked W.M.F (I believe this is a mark for export).
There is some slight age related wear as to be expected, otherwise they are in good condition.
Very stylish indeed, from the Art Nouveau period but with a Art Deco look to them.
Rare horizontal design.
14 cm wide at widest point. The photo size is 10cm x 6.5cm.
