Victorian Silver Bonbon Dish

This is a late Victorian hallmarked sterling silver bonbon dish. It was assayed in Birmingham in 1895, and made by Mappin Brothers.
 
It is of lobed navette form with scrolling ends. The sides are pierced, with repoussage C scrolls, shells and flowerheads.
 
It is in good condition, with surface wear appropriate to a piece of its age.
 
It weighs 111g (3.57 ozt).
