Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The engraving on the back of the case has an unusually designed empty cartouch, above which are the hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1902 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker's mark for Henry Williamson is also visible.

Condition: In great antique condition (the hallmarks are slightly rubbed , however, still visible).
