Pair Of Antique Georgian Solid Silver Salts 1763

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

A marvellous pair of solid sterling silver salts, created during the reign of King George III.

They are a matching pair, both hallmarked on the base for London 1763. The maker''s mark is too rubbed to decipher. They have what look to be the original glass liners and are in the classical cauldron design with three hoofed feet. Both silver and glass are in lovely condition.
