Pretty Cut Glass & Silver Scent Bottle Birmingham 1915

A delightful and very pretty crystal cut glass circular Scent Bottle with an unusually shaped silver hinged lid. The glass is beautifully cut (see images). The lid, when opened, reveals the original glass stopper. Hallmarks are visible on the silver lid collar for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1915 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver, along with the maker's mark for William Vale & Sons. Partial marks can also be seen on the inside of the lid.

This is a lovely item in great antique condition (there are some small dings to the silver lid commensurate with age that we mention for accuracy - see images).
