Set to the centre with a wonderful sapphire that is flanked by two fabulous old mine cut diamonds.
The oblong sapphire is a beautiful Ceylon blue. It is about 3.7mm x 3.2mm
The diamonds are about 3.2 mm wide, they weigh around 0.30 carat.
They are clear & bright and sparkles beautifully. Colour H Clarity SI 1-2
The stones are in an attractive star gypsy setting.
The solid shank is marked 18 carat gold with the makers mark GB.
The ring is 7.1mm wide at the front gently tapering to 2.9mm at the back.
It is size K 1/2 (UK), 6 1/2 it would re size.
This antique ring is in excellent condition.
It is a quality ring that weighs an impressive 5.2 grams.
