The gorgeous brilliant cut diamond is collet & claw set in a platinum illusion setting.
The 4.5 mm diamond weighs about 0.35 carat but it looks much larger due to the setting.
The diamond is clear & bright with immense sparkle. colour H. clarity VSI
The head is 6.5 mm wide & it stands 5.5 mm proud of the shank.
It is size P (UK), 7 3/4 (US) it would easily re size.
The yellow gold shank is marked 18 ct & PLAT.
This antique ring dates to the Edwardian period.
It is in excellent original condition. It weighs 2.8 grams
It comes in the presentation box illustrated.
