A Rare Edwardian Double Cheroot Case and Holders

A gorgeous and rather rare Edwardian silver smoking companion. This is a hinged case containing a pair of gold mounted cheroot holders, presumably for a Lady and Gentleman (one is larger than the other). The hinged lid opens to reveal the holders and has a fully gilded interior. The body has an attaching ring to the side for use with a fob chain or chatelaine. A fine and unusual piece, rarely seen as a double. Dimensions below.
