A rare and petite solid sterling silver Whistle, beautifully embossed with a nice loop at the top for attachment. Clear hallmarks are visible on the back of the tip of the whistle for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1898 and Lion Passant, along with the maker;s mark for HW Ashford.

Lovely whistle in wonderful antique collector's condition and rare.
