Description

A dramatic pair of ruby and diamond ear cuffs. The curved, platinum "ribbons" are each set with thirteen old and eight-cut diamonds, with eight round cut rubies set along the outer edge and a band of four step cut rubies swooping over the top segment. Oversized butterfly backs keep these earrings in position along the ear. A stunningly crafted piece.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report by IGR (#30307984).

Cut – The rubies are round and square step cuts with old cut and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G to I.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.

Carat – A total approximate ruby weight of 2.00 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.25 carat.

Circa – 1950.

Measurements – The earrings are 25 x 16.5mm

Metal – The earrings are platinum (tested). The push-backs are 18k white gold (stamped '750' and tested).
