A Fabulous William Comyns Pierced Silver Wine Bottle Coaster

A fabulous Victorian hallmarked and pierced silver coaster, suitable for a wine bottle or small decanter and made by the great William Comyns. This splendid example is of beautiful design and has attractively pierced sides with birds, mythological figures and flowers. The base is fruit wood and felted to the underneath. A good practical piece, by a sought after Maker and an excellent gift idea. Dimensions below.
