A beautiful hand engraved Victorian silver plated claret jug. The circular hinged lid has the Cambridge University crest and is engraved C.U.A.C. (Cambridge University Athletics Club) Trinity Sports and dated 1894. The plain mount has a Bacchus spot and a fluted thumb piece. The clear glass body has charming scenes of trees, birds and flowers and is finished with a star cut base. In very good original condition.
