Unusual 'Thistle Handle' Silver Tea Caddy Spoon Birmingham 1927

1920 - 1940
Description

A charming and unusual solid silver Tea Caddy Spoon. Beautifully crafted the handle is in the form of a thistle and engraved as such.On the back of the spoon bowl are the very clear and crisp hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1927 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker's marks are also clearly visible for Joseph Cook & Son.

 

Feels nice to hold in the hand, a rare design.

 

Condition: In great antique collector's condition.
