An 18th century silver plate inkstand. A pierced fence with a beaded rim surrounds two inkwells and a central chamberstick, each with its own receptacle. the piece stands upon four scroll feet.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time the Forth and Clyde Canal opened on the 28th of June 1790.
