A Fine Carved Stool Attributed to Shoolbred

Description

A beautifully made mahogany and leather stool, raised on carved ball and claw feet supporting shaped ends with carved patera and spindles and united by a pair of turned stretchers. The hand dyed leather and brass nailed seat lifts to reveal a mahogany lined interior. In very good condition. 510mm high, 490mm wide and 410mm deep. Circa 1870
