Description

Sheffield 1900 English hallmarked solid silver and mother of pearl handled pair of butter knives with beautiful leaf engraved silver plate blades, made by famous makers Walker and Hall. They are a stunning pair, and fitted into the equally stunning silk and velvet lined leather case, with retail marks for Walker and Hall as well. The handles are also beautifully carved and extremely lustrous.

Size-6.75 inches long by .75 inches wide. Case-8.5 inches by 3 1/8 inches.

Weight-55 grams alone, and 215 grams with case.

In very good condition, these are wonderful pieces to own to use for butter, cheese or pate, or to give as a special gift.

Declaration

Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
