Lovely Victorian Silver Plate and Ivory Set of Serving Spoons in the Original Striking Fitted Case.

Description

Victorian silver plate and ivory pair of serving spoons in the original leather silk and velvet lined case.

Lovely round bowled spoons with fluted edges and foliate decoration, have a twisted stem with cast ferule and lustrous ivory handle.

These are excellent for serving food or sauces, and make a wonderful and impressive gift.

Size-7 inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide. Size of case overall is 4 inches wide by 8.75 inches long by 1.25 inches high.

Weight-225 grams total with case, or 65 grams cutlery only.

An unusually lovely set in very good condition.

Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
