The diamond is in a charming platinum star shaped illusion setting.
The 3.8 mm diamond weighs about 0.20 carat but it looks much larger due to the setting.

It has very attractive platinum shoulders with millegrain edging .
The head is 5.8 mm wide & it stands 4.9 mm proud of the shank.
It is size L 1/2 (UK), 6 1/4 (US) it would easily re size.
The yellow gold shank is marked 18 ct & PLAT.
This antique ring dates to the art deco period.
It is in excellent condition. It weighs 1.8 grams
