A Rare Edwardian Lincoln Imp Silver Preserve Spoon

A rare Edwardian silver preserve spoon. This lovely example has fa shovel shaped bowl and part barley twist shank. The terminal features the collectable figure of the Lincoln Imp. The story states that the Imp was sent by the Devil to disrupt the construction of Lincoln Cathedral. An Angel turned him to stone and he now forms part of the ceiling decoration. Legend has it that he moves around, so that you can't spot him. An appealing collector's piece, both decorative and practical. Dimensions below.
