Fabulous Large Hexagonal Antique Copper Lantern

This is a beautiful, 19th century antique copper lantern by J.Wallis. A superb, more ornate model, hexagonal in shape with each face stamped by the maker. In very good, complete and intact conditon, there is a hinged door to one side to allow access inside. Ready to be wired in situ, the antique lantern is fitted with a modern bulb holder and with a hanging loop to the top. A very attractive 1large 9th century antqiue copper lantern that features an ornate chimney finial top with a decorative top edge and finial ball feet to the bottom. Perfect antique lantern for a hallway or entrance porch. English and dating from around 1875.
