Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Cradle Pin Cushion

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

This is a lovely example of a solid sterling silver novelty pin cushion.

The cradle/cot carries import marks for London 1901 and was imported by John George Piddington. The original (possibly Hanau) marks can be seen inside the base. The cradle is beautifully decorated with courting scenes and the mustard velvet pin cushion, whilst a replacement, has been tastefully done. The silver is in excellent condition, with no tears, splits or dents.
