An Unusual Victorian Silver Snuff Box

An unusual Victorian silver snuffbox of rounded and tactile form. This handsome example has foliate repousse decoration to the top and base, with an interesting inscription "Thomas 13.3.66" (presumably retrospectively referring to 1866). The lid is hinged and the interior is richly gilded. A fine example both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Hallmarks :- Full set to base and corresponding part set to lid. Loss to the Maker's mark.
