English Sterling Silver Topped Cut Crystal Inkwell / Paperweight

Description

This handsome inkwell is made from a heavy and chunky piece of English crystal, beautifully cut on the underside with the ever-popular and classic hobnail cut.

Due to it's weight, it doubles as a wonderful paperweight on the desk-top. The sterling silver collar and lid are hallmarked for Birmingham 1921 together with the makers mark J G & S for John Grinsell & Sons.

In superb undamaged condition, the base measures 3" in diameter x 2 1/4" tall.
