Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Beautifully pierced, with the most attractive handle and bowl, the Caddy Spoon is clearly fully hallmarked on the back for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1945 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silvermaker's marks are also very clear for Oliver & Bower Ltd.

A very charming spoon, feels lovely to hold in the hand and a good heavy weight.
