Description

This tall and stylish, beautiful and classic pair of English hallmarked solid silver candlesticks is hallmarked Sheffield 1921. The Corinthian column form is remarkably executed, and a classic form, made in a thick gauge of silver. They were made by Walker and Hall, very famous makers. They stand 9.75 inches high, and have hallmarked and detachable shaped sconces or nozzles. The bases are stepped, and accented by rows of beading. The columns are skilfully fluted, and topped with leafy scrolled capitals, while the detachable sconces are shaped and beaded.

Size-9.75 inches high by 4.25 inches square base.

The bottom of the bases are lined with baize to protect the table surface.

A very elegant and heavy pair of solid silver candlesticks in wonderful condition, by excellent makers, to suit anywhere in the home, or to give as an impressive gift.
