Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The hallmarks are for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1906, Lion Passant indicting sterling silver and the maker's marks for the renowned silversmiths: Adie & Lovekin. There are also partial hallmarks to the side of the lid, however, these are rubbed so not clearly detectable.

A charming pill box in lovely antique condition. (There is a tiny ding on the side of the box just beneath the hinge which we mention for accuracy - see image 3).
