Description

A fine pair of solid silver William IV, Serving/Basting Spoons. The spoons are in the Fiddle pattern and are simply plain polished sterling with no engraving or embossing. The back of each spoon's terminal bear identical hallmarks for the Newcastle Assay Office with a date mark for 1831 along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the silvermaker's mark for Peter Lambert.

A good heavy gauge pair weighing approx. 64 grams each.

Condition: In very good collector's condition (there is a small bump in one of the spoon bowls which we mention for accuracy).
