An Unusual Edwardian Silver Mounted Whiskey Noggin

An unusual and collectable item of practical Edwardian silver. This delightful piece is a Whisky tot or chotopeg. It was used to take a couple of shots of Whisky to bed to ward off sleeplessness. The body is glass and 'pinched' in the glug glug style. This rare example has a silver neck and pouring collar, with the words 'Whiskey (Irish spelling) in pierced silver below. It retains the original matching stopper. Dimensions below.
