A Lovely Silver Travelling Watch/clock Case

A handsome silver watch stand. This delightful piece has a silver front panel with engine turned engraving and a vacant cartouche. The back is of easel form and the cover opens to reveal the original green velvet interior. These attractive and practical items were to use on a journey, when then pocket watch could be enclosed in the case and turn it into a table standing clock. A most interesting and collectable item.
