Victorian Silver Horseshoe Brooch Chester 1887

Description

Charming Victorian brooch in the form of a Horseshoe. Lovely proportions, the horseshoe is fully hallmarked on the back for the Chester Assay Office with a date mark for 1887 and silvermaker's mark: Frederick Venour.

The brooch has a good fastening pin on the back with a 'C' clasp.

This brooch is in great antique condition.

Hallmarks and maker's marks: Chester 1887 by Frederick Venour.

Measurements:

Height 4.3 cm approx.

Width: 3.7 cm approx.

Weight: 4 grams approx.
