Magnificent pair of Early-Victorian silver salt cellars; of circular form with plain bodies, heavy gadroon and shell borders and gilt interiors, each resting on three fine cast "lionmask and paw" feet. The quality has to be seen (and handled) to really be appreciated; the craftsmanship is of the highest order and the heavy weight is a testimony to the quality of these splendid pieces.
