A Fabulous Victorian Silver Sugar Caster

A fabulous silver sugar caster of inverted baluster form and superior quality. The body is engraved extensively with leaves, flowers and wrythen flutes. The lid is shaped and pierced, terminating with an acanthus steeple knop. The raised pedestal foot is fluted and pierced. A fine and interesting example of excellent gauge silver. Dimensions below.
