Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Basket 1908

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautiful antique Edwardian sterling silver dish/basket measuring 10 1/2" (27 cms) across x 4 1/4" (11 cms) high to the rim and 10" (25 cms) high to the top of the handle when it's up.

It weighs 698.3 grams which gives you some idea of the quality and has beautiful pierced decoration all round.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1908 with the silversmiths mark for Elkington & Co.

The handle swings freely and it's in excellent condition with no damage or repairs (any marks you can see in the photos are just reflections) .
