Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Clear hallmarks are visible around the top of the vases for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1904 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver along with the maker's mark for B&C.

The vases are weighted and the base underneath is covered with a green baize.
Condition: In great antique condition. (There are a few very minor dents to the rim of the bases which we mention for accuracy only).
